Help Masha Walk Pain-Free Again
URGENT — Masha needs surgery as soon as possible
Masha is a 10-year-old, 17-pound Bichon who has been Amanda's little shadow since she was a puppy. After suffering a serious hip injury, Masha was rushed to the veterinarian, sedated, X-rayed, and had her hip placed back into position. Unfortunately, the hip is not expected to remain stable, and Masha now needs FHO surgery so she can walk comfortably again and live without ongoing pain.
Amanda has already done everything she can to help her girl. She paid and financed Masha's emergency care, applied to multiple assistance programs, and has been actively searching for a lower-cost surgical option.
Giving4Pets has now officially approved Masha for our Pets in Need assistance program. Through our veterinary partner, Dr. Kelly's Surgical Unit, Masha has received an initial quote of approximately $1,500 for the FHO surgery she needs. Giving4Pets will be coordinating directly with the veterinary team and paying approved veterinary expenses directly.
Our immediate goal is to raise the funds needed to get Masha through surgery and on the road to recovery. If we exceed the amount needed for the procedure, additional funds raised for Masha will be used toward her approved veterinary care and recovery needs.
Amanda describes Masha as her constant companion — the first little face she sees in the morning and the last at night. She has loved her since she was a tiny puppy and just wants her to be able to walk, wag her tail, and enjoy life without pain again.
Please donate if you can and share Masha's story. Every gift, no matter the size, helps bring her one step closer to a pain-free life.
